Newly Released Multilayer Type Metal Oxide Varistors Offer Surge Current Up To 6000 A

KOA's multilayer chip varistors now add "NV73S series".The use of KOA's proprietary ceramic materials and optimization of the structure has achieved high surge current.

NV73S series include three sizes:1210 inch, 1812 inch and 2220 inch.2220 inch size has a surge current of 6000A, which is about five times higher than that of existing products.

NV73S series contributes to a significant space saving from disk varistors and other surge protection components.

Application examples:・Protection of ESD/EMI for industrial equipment・Induced surge's protection of motors, relay etc.
